We will be scheduling an installation of LiteSpeed web server on Server10 on Thursday, January 29, 2009 at 12.00 midnight (Los Angeles, CA time – PST).

There may be a small downtime when we are configuring LiteSpeed. This happens as we will stop and start services and will be checking on LiteSpeed’s performance and configuration to make sure it is fully optimized to run your website efficiently.

After the LiteSpeed installation is completed, you will notice a tremendous difference in terms of performance. Apache will still be set up on the backend on the server and it will run side-by-side with LiteSpeed. This will not only gives you the high-performance and high-scalability of LiteSpeed but also the reliability and compatibility of Apache.

Magento Commerce version 1.2.0.3 is now available for download and upgrade. This version includes an issue resolutions for Magento version 1.2.0.x as listed in the release notes.

Users who installs Magento using our Installatron Script Installer can also upgrade Magento using Installatron (only if you do not have additional extensions, themes, etc).

If you are using Google Checkout and/or Google Website Optimizer we recommend you upgrade to this latest version as there were some bug fixes related to these modules.

Note: We do NOT recommend upgrading a production installation of Magento directly. Please backup database and all files before upgrading. Please make sure to check file permission before trying to upgrade through your Magento Connect Manager.

Drupal 6.9 and Drupal 5.15 maintenance releases fixing problems reported using the bug tracking system, as well as critical security vulnerabilities, are now available for download.

Upgrading your existing Drupal 5 and 6 sites is strongly recommended. There are no new features in these releases. The Joomla Project announces the immediate availability of Joomla 1.5.9 [Vatani]. This is a security release and users are strongly encouraged to upgrade immediately.

It has been around two months since Joomla 1.5.8 was released on November 10, 2008. The Development Working Group’s goal is to continue to provide regular, frequent updates to the Joomla community.
