This release contains 66 bug fixes, one low-level security fix, and one moderate-level security fix. It has been 11 weeks since Joomla 1.5.9 was released on January 10, 2009. The Development Working Group’s goal is to continue to provide regular, frequent updates to the Joomla community.

This is an announcement regarding our Domain Registration System by our registrars Stargate/UK2 and NetEarthOne have been dealing with a major hardware failure that has necessitated replacement of hardware and restoration of data.

This is a long and tedious process and is expected to finish around 08:00 AM GMT on March 12. Our registrars and the developers of the Orderbox Control Panel, LogicBoxes are doing everything they can to bring the system up as soon as possible and will keep you posted.

Rest assured that all domain name related operations will resume normally as soon as our Domain Registration System is online again.
